These terms govern your use of laingpressurewashing.com.au (“the website”) and the cleaning services provided by Laing Pressure Washing (ABN 25 514 610 784, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website or booking our services, you agree to these terms.
1. About our services
We provide exterior cleaning services across the Coffs Coast, NSW, including pressure cleaning, soft washing, window cleaning, graffiti removal, and solar panel cleaning. Our service area extends approximately 50km from Coffs Harbour CBD; jobs outside this area may be quoted at our discretion.
2. Quotes and bookings
All prices indicated on the website (“from $X”, estimates, sample pricing tables) are indicative only. A binding price is provided once we've assessed the property in person or by site photos and issued a written quote.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. A booking is confirmed when you accept a quote in writing (email or text) and we provide a scheduled date.
3. Site access and conditions
You agree to provide:
- Safe, unobstructed access to the property and the surfaces to be cleaned
- Access to potable water and a 240V power point within reasonable working distance, unless otherwise arranged
- Notice of any fragile features, painted-and-not-yet-cured surfaces, working sprinklers, sensitive plantings, pets, or hazards we should know about
We may refuse to commence work if site conditions are unsafe or materially different from what was described at the time of quote. In that case we'll discuss options with you before any additional fees are agreed.
4. Workmanship and limitations
We use industry-standard equipment, biodegradable cleaning solutions, and techniques selected for each surface type. We do not guarantee:
- Removal of stains that have permanently etched into a surface (for example, salt deposits left untreated for years, paint that has bonded permanently to porous brick, oil that has penetrated unsealed concrete)
- Outcomes on surfaces in poor structural condition (loose paint, crumbling render, rotting timber, panels with pre-existing damage)
- That cleaned surfaces will not re-soil — outdoor surfaces in the Coffs Coast climate accumulate organic growth over time and need recurring maintenance
5. Insurance
We carry public liability insurance and workers compensation insurance covering our work and our personnel. Certificates are available on request. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects on your property.
6. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and card payment. Commercial clients may be invoiced on 7-day terms by arrangement. Late payment may incur reasonable recovery costs.
7. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule or cancel a booking at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start may incur a call-out fee equal to one hour's labour. Weather rescheduling is at our discretion and does not incur any fee.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection legislation that cannot be lawfully excluded.
Subject to that, our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services is limited, at our option, to: (a) re-supplying the affected service, or (b) refunding the amount paid for the affected service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss.
9. Website use
Content on this website (text, photos, designs, the Laing Pressure Washing brand and logo) is owned by us. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial purposes, but may not reproduce content commercially without permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of New South Wales.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. The version in force at the time you book is the version that applies to your booking.
